Anna Choc

Anna grew up in Clay, Alabama and graduated from Clay-Chalkville High School in 2015. She and her family were members of First Baptist CenterPoint before moving to CrossPoint when the church opened. Anna graduated from UAB in 2020 with a degree in Community Health and Human Services. Go Blazers!!

Anna joined the staff in January of 2020 and served until August of 2023, when she moved to Guatemala to serve as a short term missionary with some of the church’s mission partners. She moved back to the States in June of 2024 and got married on August 3rd of that same year. Anna met her husband, Juan, in 2021 while on a mission trip to Guatemala. In August of 2025, Anna had the opportunity to re-join the staff as the Student Ministry Worship Assistant and joyfully accepted!

Anna loves music. She began singing in the children’s choir at Crosspoint when she was little.  She joined her school’s choir in the 4th grade and continued on through college. Today, the Lord graciously allows her to use her love for worship to serve the students of CrossPoint. Anna was involved in CrossPoint’s student ministry worship team as a high school student. She has loved having the opportunity to invest in the lives of students and pour back into the ministry that helped grow and shape her.

If you know Anna, you know she also has a love for cats. She rescued her cat, Lucy, from the Jack’s parking lot down the street from the church in January of 2018. She adopted her second cat, Maya, in 2025.

Anna loves using her creativity to make all sorts of things. She enjoys painting, lettering, photography and baking. She also loves spending time with her family and having people in her home.
