Nicholas Fason

Nicholas was born right in downtown Birmingham, AL and grew up in Odenville, AL, attending St. Clair County High School. While still in high school, Nicholas worked as the Technical Director for the Center for Education and Performing Arts (CEPA) in Pell City, AL. In this role he worked with a multitude of audiovisual technologies, mixing audio for live concert and theatrical productions, performing as a lighting designer, and was in charge of equipment upkeep and maintenance for the facility. He then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, minoring in Communication Management.
Nicholas has been attending CrossPoint as a member since around 2015 and was hired as an Associate Audio Engineer in 2025. He currently works full-time at UAB as a Software Developer as well as acting as the Technical Director for Sunday morning worship.
He has a dog named Echo who is a German Shepherd/Husky mix with two different colored eyes.
